Artist Statement

Watercolors by Pam Hines

I have always had a love of art, but became more serious about expanding my own creative ability upon meeting local watercolor artist, illustrator and instructor, Chris Dreyer.  Through watercolor classes with Chris and a workshop at Dillman’s Bay Resort with watercolorist Tom Lynch, my creative side has emerged again.  Encouragement from my husband, local veterinarian, Dr. J. A. Hines, family members, and friends has provided motivation. I have gained a whole new appreciation of art, progressing from admiring to creating.  Though I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and lived several years in Texas, rural farm life and Wisconsin landscapes have inspired me the most.

My Watercolor Gallery is open by appointment only.  Many originals and Limited Edition Prints are still available. For more information or to view my website, please visit www.pamhineswatercolors.com. The website also provides information about our annual Fine Art Fair.
